Hit to Greece - Part III

Have you think of what to do in Santorini? Not to worries, as I didn't do any much research for this traveling and just in time asking the concierge who offer few packages of Santorini tour. I have pick the 1st Package in my blog @ Hit to Greece - Part I. Friendly services provided by the hotel concierge to send us to the Old Port to depart the tour.

Fira Town

For your information, Santorini (Thera) Volcano entry is not including in the tour packages. Therefore, we need to pay € 2 to went up the volcano otherwise the guests are remain on the ship for an hour. The ship will stop in each location for an hour but if you miss the ride. You may take the next ship as the next route head to the Palia Kameni (hot springs).

After the volcano, get yourself ready with the bikini or swimming suit to jump straightaway from the ship to the volcanic hot spring.

Tired of swims, the time move forward for us to go lunch to regain energy. Our lunch will be in Thirasia Island that slightly similar to Mykonos.

Time tick's to 5pm and can't wait to see the most beautiful sunset that previous travelers have spreads.

Oia Port

Sad to say that I'm regret of stopping my journey in Oia Port. The reason being is we have to climb up from the Oia Port to the Oia Town. It really consume our energy and spirit climbing the stepped stairs especially in the sunny weather. My best advice is to take local bus ride from Fira town to Oia or stop the ship in last destination (Thirasia, Old Port).

Steps into Oia Town

There are so much to see in Oia from west to the other end. Not to mentioned, it totally different from one end to another. At first, you may see a lot of shops and restaurants around but continuously you will reach the Oia higher prices of accommodation and Oia town bus stop station.

Too bad, my phone out of battery in this beautiful scene. Even I try to capture using my iPad was blur. Lcukil I still manage to see it from my own eyes. It still worth to come Oia for sunset as many tourist are around watching it live. The trip wasn't just end this way where I decided to go Athens the next day between my transit hours.
