What you need is the schedule even though you prefer free and easy traveling. So, travelers still remain to do some research before departures. Otherwise, it gonna be lost around the city and torturing your legs. Below is the example of the itinerary that could helps. Foremost, remember to get an Oyster Card when you travel around London city where it is so much convenient. The Oyster card can be purchase in the tube station of London Heathrow Terminals.

If you tend to visit the other attractions rather than shopping then goes for Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park that remain in the same Piccadilly line. When the time comes to the afternoon, follow the habits of Londoners that prefer to grab a sandwich for lunch instead of dining and enjoy in the park (Summer period). 

Dinner in Harvey Nichols for Burger & Lobster, and why not Soho? Is just to avoid the long queue especially on weekends. After dinner, walk around the Knightsbridge where Harrods (designer stores) is located.

Visit iconic London Eye and Big Ben in Westminster tube station

Get the tube to Borough tube station to the London's most renowned food market (Borough Market) for delicious foods such as St John Bakery Doughnuts and Monmouth Coffee.

After the meal, let's show a hidden area in Covent Garden where I called it as a secret garden - Neal's Yard. The reason to calls it secret garden was because it kinda hard to find this area if you are not familiar with Covent Garden. Meanwhile, the buildings here is beautiful when the sun light shine over the walls.

Next, at the Covent Garden take the Piccadilly line and change to Northern line at the King's Cross St.Pancreas station. Leave the train in Camden Town station. Often, Camden Town is best known for local foodstuff markets and famous for punk. So, walk all the way to experience the culture different and go dinner in the Top 1 Fish & Chips - The Poppies.

London King's Cross St Pancreas station is well-known by everyone and of course, with the Harry Potter's 9 3/4 platform in King Cross Station. Secondly, the sculptor - Paul Day (The Meeting Place) with thirty feet tall that means to greet the travelers when they arrive in London. This is the well-known statue in St Pancreas station and as well more Asian knew this statues due to the Hong Kong movie 'Triumph in the Skies II' where they taken a shooting scene here.
