Bangkok - Part 7

Introducing something new for your meal. Even though you may hear of from somewhere else. But these are the foods I have try during my trip in Bangkok.

Visited Bangkok's Chinatown where we realize there is a hidden restaurant that served traditional breakfast. What so special about this? This is On Lok Yun which blend into few centuries back of block building. When arrive, it seem to be nothing much special from the exterior but totally a hidden gem. Typically, it served similar to Malaysia breakfast - a set of half boiled eggs, butter and kaya bread and hot tea. Just to take a look inside the restaurant, we notice majority are having their morning breakfast. Total of 3 levels of the shop and is packed till where we was serve to seat on the top floor.

Although we had our hotel breakfast before arriving, we still intend to order the signature dish of Bread with butter and sugar, Egg Custard Bread with Kaya. The taste turns good with the Bread with butter and sugar that a slight sweet. Despite the fact that with the toasted bread are perfectly fine with the sweet. Another was the cubes white bread was to dip the Kaya and egg custard sauces which surprisingly a new match.

One of the advise is to pick a taxi over as the restaurant are far from the public transportation. Chinatown's are busier during the Chinese New Year festive and this shop will be closed for celebration.

Here it served the menu of mixture of Chinese ingredients with Western cooking method. Few selections for your patty either, fish n chips, pork, vegetables and spicy chicken. Don't judge the food by it covers when it arrive hot on your table. The crispy fish n chips and the Chinese buns used was delicious where my friends and I agree this was nice.
