Winter Wonderland

Although the new year have passed, but the Christmas I have in last year was amazing. It was the first time of celebrating my Christmas in overseas that I have not imagine before. The Christmas season is an important holidays in Western countries. So, what the plan during the long holidays when the weather getting colder and everyone have to wear more to protect from cold?

And, I decided to go the Winter Wonderland, the theme of the Christmas festival in Hyde Park London. It have been organised for several years. A free entrance to the festival but an advance booking needed for Ice Skating, The Magical Ice Kingdom, Zippos Circus, Giant Wheel and Bar Ice to enjoy. Meanwhile, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland are a places that suitable for all ages. From the entrance to the Christmas markets are selling various foods and drinks. A good news is if you are aged 25 and above, you are allowed to drink alcohol as Winter Wonderland operates a ‘Challenge 25’ policy for all alcohol sales.

Not only the Christmas market, the Winter Wonderland some how more like a festive fun fair with thrilling rides. It was an fantastic experience here.

Winter Wonderland has now closed for this season. The celebration yet will be back again in November 2015 and be prepared to queue up in weekend. Otherwise, you can visit in the morning or weekday where they open at 10am every day.
