Dubai & Abu Dhabi - Part I

The mysterious journey begins in Dubai because it started to be well-known by everyone through the world largest shopping mall (The Dubai Mall), the 7 stars hotel (Burj Al Arab), the world's tallest buildings (Burj Khalifa) and the most expensive buffet in the world. It mainly the tallest and biggest buildings appears in the country, however it is also a country that never rain in a year. While, desert and flamingo is the only nature from GOD. Consequently, in 2014, Dubai break the Guinness World Records for the largest fireworks display in The Palm Island.

The first stop in Dubai will be in the Altantis. It's situated on the crescent of the largest man-made island in the world, The Palm Island. It's approximately 35 minutes away from Dubai International Airport (DXB), and 1 hour 30 minutes away from Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH). From the Dubai International Airport, you can take a taxi directly to Altantis (AED 100). Alternatively, take the Dubai Metro from the Metro station at your terminal towards Jebel Ali. Stop at Mall of the Emirates Station, and take a taxi directly to Atlantis, The Palm.

After the starter, the main menu is served and it's the most awaiting dishes along the trip. It's time to see the view of the Burj Khalifa in front of our eyes. The tallest building in the world have become a world-class destination and the magnificent centerpiece of Downtown Dubai, Dubai's new urban masterpiece. The Burj Khalifa skyscraper is surrounded by hotels (Armani Hotel Dubai), must-visit shopping destinations (The Dubai Mall) and a world of entertainment options.

The entrance ticket allows to get to the observation deck - AT THE TOP in Level 124. By standing the top of tallest building structure at 828.9m, you will see the whole Dubai view. But, there is a withdraw from the observation deck because most of the view is block by the buildings structure for safety purposes as I guess.

Simultaneously, you will saw the most famous fountain show in Dubai. The actual Dubai Fountain is set in Burj Khalifa Lake, right outside The Dubai Mall on Lower Ground Waterfront Promenade in the heart of Downtown Dubai. The fountain shoots water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres), equivalent to that of a 50-storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It has been designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas. The Dubai Fountain performs daily, with the performance repertoire including Sama Dubai; Baba Yetu, an award-winning song in Swahili; the Arab world’s top-selling dance number Shik Shak Shok; and the signature piece of world-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Con te partiro (Time to Say Goodbye).

The Dubai Fountain is the world's largest dancing fountain in sync with classical, Arabic, and world music. Over 6,600 WET Superlights – the most advanced incandescent large fountain lights available today – and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 abstract attractions. The beam of light shining upward from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away, and will be visible from space making it the brightest spot in the Middle East, and quite possibly in the entire world.
