Dubai & Abu Dhabi - Part III

On the following days, back to the Dubai city and visit the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in the early morning. The distinctive sail-shaped silhouette of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is more than just a stunning hotel, it is a symbol of modern Dubai. Yet for all the wonder this stunning structure provides when you finally see it in person, it is the service within that really makes the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah so extraordinary. Repeatedly voted the world's most luxurious hotel, this magnificent destination offers you the finest service and facilities throughout – right down to an optional chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce.

Burj Al Arab Jumeirah offers 202 luxurious duplex suites, nine world-class restaurants and bars, four sqimming pools (two outdoor, two indoor) and a private beach, complimentray access to Wild Wadi Waterpark for the duration of your stay, Talise Spa, Talise Fitness and Sinbad's Kids Club. The next amazing thing was the suite-only accommodation offers discreet check-in within your rooms, a private reception on every floor and a host of personal butlers, each a warm messenger of our unparalleled hospitality.

On the others side, a giant aquarium filled with freaky-faced fish, sharks, turtles and even eels greets you upon arrival, and mid-meal a diver feeds the fish, which might just distract you from a fantastic expensive meal. This is Al Mahara, the Burj's famous restaurant that served À la carte seafood cuisine underwater (although it's on the same level as the lobby), but it is a dining destination with a difference experience. The restaurant received the TripAdvisor awards and Wine Spectator awards on 2014. P.S. make an advance booking if you are interested to try it out, unfortunately my first time traveling to Dubai and no idea about it until I came. miss the chances to try the underwater restaurants. : (

In this sunny day, we couldn't stand under the sunlight for long hours. Then, we decided to move to our next location - the Dubai Museum. It is the main museum that located in the Al Fahidi Fort, built in 1787 and is the oldest existing building in Dubai. It’s a terrific example of a desert fort, complete with cannons and battlements. Dubai’s entertaining museum brings the city’s past and present together in a series of life-size dioramas and archaeological exhibits from desert excavations. Meet the pearl fishers who first settled the banks of the Creek, the desert Bedouins who roamed the heartland, and the date farmers who irrigated the land. You’ll also see representations of a busy souq, a mosque and inside a traditional home, revealing life in the Emirate before the coming of oil.

The Spice Souk is located in eastern Dubai, in Deira and is adjacent to the Dubai Gold Souk. The souk comprises several narrow lanes which are lined with open and closed-roof stores.
